Simple Cereal Bars

You can buy tons of different cereal bars in the supermarket, often containing very much sugar, fat and other additives. However, these homemade ones are done in no time, taste even better than the supermarket sugar choc and on top they are made from healthier ingredients!

Servings: 8 bars
Cooking time: 10min                               Total time: 20min

You need for the
...cereal bars:
100g oats
25g chia seeds
25g sunflower seeds
30g walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
½ tsp vanilla
30g coconut oil
60g maple syrup

How to make:
1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius!
2. Start by melting coconut oil and maple syrup. Especially in winter, it can happen that the coconut oil is very solid.
3. Afterwards put oats, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla and salt into a bowl.
4. Now add the coconut oil and maple syrup and combine well.
5. Then you can take out a form where you can bake your bars (I have a silicone mold). Fill the mixture in and press it slightly into it.
6. Time to bake your bars for 8 to 10 minutes in the oven!
7. Enjoy!

P.S. I don´t recommend to add dried fruits such as raspberries or goji berries, as they quickly get burned and taste bitter. Believe me - I´ve tried as you might see!
