Creamiest Gnocchi With Pepper Sauce
Struggling with getting more veggies in your diet? Then this recipe is perfect for you. It contains lots of red peppers in the sauce blended with some spices and nut butter. Easy, delicious and the ideal comfort food for relaxing evenings!
Servings: 2-3
Time: 30 minutes
You need for the
...gnocchi:
400g gnocchi
1 tbsp olive oil
…creamiest pepper sauce:
3 peppers
30ml-50ml water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp miso paste
2 tsp harissa paste
2 tbsp tahini
50-75ml coconut milk
2 tbsp olive oil
How to make:
1. At first fry the gnocchi with some olive oil in a pan until slightly brown. Afterwards, place them aside.
2. Then cut your peppers into smaller pieces and fry them as well in the pan. To make the peppers softer I recommend to put a lid on top of your pan and I would add some water (30-50ml). The peppers need around 7-10 minutes until they are soft. Don´t heat them up too much!
3. After frying, take about 2/3 for the sauce. Blend these pepper pieces with lemon juice, maple syrup, miso paste, harissa paste, tahini, and coconut milk until you have a nice and creamy sauce.
4. Add this sauce to the pan again (not heated anymore) and mix them with gnocchi and the rest of your peppers. Then you can heat up the pan slightly again if you want to have a warm meal.
5. Enjoy!
