Christmas Nut Butter Cups

With nut butter and chocolate nothing can go wrong – right?! These cups are perfect for heavy chocolate cravings in Christmas time. And yes, if all are gone within less than 2 days, that´s completely normal!

Servings: 8-11 small cups
Cooking time: 15 minutes                      Total time: 1 hour

You need for the
…chocolate cups:

100g dark vegan chocolate
25g maple syrup
25g coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon

… almond butter filling:
50g almond butter
25g maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt

How to make:
1. Start by mixing almond butter, maple syrup, cinnamon and salt in a bowl together. Tip: take out the almond butter earlier from the fridge, so that it is more liquid and not that cold and stiff.
2. Continue with preparing the chocolate cup. Simply melt the chocolate together with maple syrup, coconut oil and cinnamon in a water bath.
3. Now you can start making the cups. Put half of the chocolate into a silicone mat (I´ve made 7 cups), add on all the cups the same amount of the almond butter filling and lastly pour in the rest of the chocolate.
4. Put the chocolate cups for about 45 minutes into the freezer and then they are ready to be ENJOYED!

P.S. If you store the cups in your freezer, they take about 15 minutes at room temperature to have the perfect consistency.
